What it is, and how it works:

It is a natural therapeutic system for the care and prevention of limb problems. Water Flow essentially consists of a perforated bag supported by an adjustable band, which, supplied with water from the water mains through a tube, flows out wetting the part to be treated with a continuous flow of water sprayed from micro-holes. This creates the same effect as showers with warm or cold water and hydromassage, while avoiding wasted time and optimizing the application. In the presence of traumas, contusions, sprains, bursitis, desmitis, irritations, and tendinitis, the anti-inflammatory Treatment System is the simple, easy-to-use, economical, and above all effective solution that allows you to decongest and quickly solve the problem. The anti-inflammatory Treatment System, in addition to applications for the care of the aforementioned conditions, is used with great success for the prevention of all these problems, in all competitive disciplines, for racehorses in both trotting and galloping as well as for horses used for leisure, but also for use on the human body and on other animals.

In fact, just apply it to the limb, above the knee or wherever it is needed, with the comfortable elasticized velcro, connect it with the special fittings and rubber tubes to the water mains and let the water flow slowly, to tone and remove "stress" from the part you want to treat. Consequently, the advantages are countless, both for the savings in the use of medicines, and for the great speed at which the body is pushed towards restoring the normal parameters of the treated part. Warm water treatment accelerates the healing processes and facilitates the recovery of normal mechanical function. Hydromassage as well as the action of cold water serves to release any contractures, increases blood and lymphatic flow, relieves pain by facilitating the arrival of nutritional and reparative elements to the injured area or by promoting the removal of excess fluids, catabolites and free radicals. The application of WATER FLOW is fast and easy; some horses initially remain a little disconcerted by feeling the water flow down their limbs, but after a very short time they will stand still.

Therapy schemes:

the decongestant action of WATER FLOW carried out by the water flow begins its effect right from the first application. The toning action given by the normally cold water, or for certain therapies even warm water, can be used both for therapy on limbs and for therapy on different parts if WATER FLOW is fixed with adhesive tape or with special velcro anchors. On the limbs, it must be fixed so that the flow runs over the part to be treated, making sure that folds or incorrect positioning do not prevent optimal water flow.

General information

As a cure for the problems mentioned in the previous paragraph, it is recommended that it be applied at least twice a day for times no less than twenty minutes, but not more than one hour (to avoid problems with hooves flaking), until the problem disappears. The help of medical supervision will optimize the applications.

For prevention, to avoid limb fatigue and tone the muscles, it must be used at the end of the work session for at least twenty minutes and, to try to avoid the unpleasant effects of heavier work than usual, up to an hour of application. WATER FLOW is an excellent system to relieve fatigue in horses that have to endure prolonged effort or to retone athletes who are taking a break between one competition and another. Given its practicality of use, it is easily usable even when traveling, wherever there is the possibility of having a water hose to connect to.
The pressure must be minimal, in fact, it is enough to see the water flowing on the limb.

ATTENTION excessive water pressure could damage WATER FLOW.

How it is built:

WATER FLOW is a high-tech product. The support band is made of a soft edged Nylon fabric that adheres well to the limbs. The fastening system with a comfortable and long velcro, fixed with the insertion of an elastic band, allows an easy and secure anchorage from the upper part of the hock down to the cannon bone. Fixed under the band, the PVC collector/container is welded using the most innovative technologies.

The perforation for the flow has been designed to optimize constant diffusion. The connection tube from the collector to the delivery is also welded with the help of a special technology. The optimal construction of the strap that secures the water pipes, connecting to the water supply, on the back, has infinite adjustment possibilities thanks to its elastic part and does not remain wet. All parts of the system, as well as the very easy-to-use joints, are designed to last over time if used with care. The convenient resealable bag allows for its storage.
