Z-Bars are used to reinforce rails in areas subject to greater wear or stress, particularly in confined spaces such as paddocks (turnouts) and small dry pasture areas. They are also highly recommended for confining draft horses, smaller and more spirited breeds such as thoroughbreds, or livestock.

By adding Z-Bar reinforcement inside the rail, you gain 75% more strength for just a 15% increase in cost.
