Advantages

The highest cost of maintaining a horse, incredible but true, is its bedding, but not only that: the horse spends a lot of time on the bedding. What to do?

For bedding

Switch to PERMANENT CATALYZED bedding!

Those who do not want to switch to permanent bedding do not worry: we have found a system to improve the environment where the horse lives, working also on bedding to be completely changed weekly and on straw bedding.

Although, given our experience, we would like to point out that:

  • with traditional bedding, during normal stall cleaning, about 30% to 40% of still-clean material is thrown away.
  • the bedding, in addition to absorbing liquids, supports the horse's weight and therefore must be soft, so traditional bedding is not good because it is shallow and the horse often pushes it aside, then resting on the hard floor and causing capped hocks or sores.
  • urine, in traditional bedding, produces ammonia fumes that irritate the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract, predisposing it to pathologies and reducing sports performance; even with the use of strong disinfectants, the same irritating effect is achieved.
  • due to the fermentations that always accompany the decomposition of the bedding, there may be bacteria that can cause problems to the general condition of the horse and foot infections, up to the rotting of the frog.

In wood shavings or sawdust.

Quantity of enzymes used in a 3x3 m stall in a year: 5.750 kg.

In a stable treated with Catalyst Enzymes there will always be very few flies and insects.

Treatment of piles

Both CATALYST ENZYMES and CATALYST ENZYMES WATER POWER can be used on piles of droppings (in manure heaps) to increase the organic yield processes of inorganic products and the maturation of manure. For tanks or purification plants we have specialized technicians who can give you all the necessary advice to avoid crusts and blockages as well as ammonia fumes.

As a natural sanitizer

Both CATALYST ENZYMES and CATALYST ENZYMES WATER POWER can be diluted in water and with this many surfaces can be treated to prevent the formation of bad odors.
