Midges, sand flies… are an impossible nuisance for all animals and not only, at certain temperatures they even become real "blood suckers". We've tried a solution: NOMIDGE and it works! It's always a biological treatment based on tiny creatures, in this case mites that are predators of midges!
To be done twice a year or as needed once when the infestation appears and the other after a month. Obviously do not combine with insecticides!
NOMIDGE: one package contains 250,000 predators and covers an area of approximately 180 sq.m.
Rif. BF MOSCERINI NOMIDGE

In order to avoid delays in deliveries and stock that could compromise the product, we suggest proceeding with advance payment via bank transfer, credit card or PayPal.Here is some important information:
Where do I put them: the first thing to do is identify where midges reproduce, very often damp areas in the shade, near bushes or shaded areas, but also under long grass;
How do I put them: distribute, using a small shovel, the contents of our package
If I put them in the paddock:
should the treatment be done on the perimeter or on the entire surface? On the perimeter but not on the entire perimeter, only where you suspect midges reproduce. If we need to treat 100 linear meters, we will distribute for a width of 0.5m x 100m linear = 50 sq.m so approximately 1/3 of the package
Does rain change anything? No, unless it's torrential.
When should I do the treatment? It's impossible to define the month beforehand because it depends very much on seasonality. As soon as you see the first mobile forms of midges it's time to intervene. Keep in mind that you will need to plan your purchase and it takes us a couple of weeks to produce them
For meadows how to introduce them into the environment:
where to concentrate the spreading? Where you see midges appearing, as mentioned above
On the entire surface or on the perimeter? Same concept as the paddock in zones
Does external temperature change anything? Yes, the temperature must be at least 18/20° C but humidity also has a major impact and this is why we need to identify the reproduction area (where midges usually reproduce it is humid)
internal places like boxes or shelters
in this case, since they are not parasites but predators, you must start as soon as you see the first mobile forms
