That paddocks and therefore fences are an essential condition for the ANIMAL WELFARE of horses, but also of all animals, is stated by law, but I think you all agree. Since 1989 we have put the BADI FARM ELECTRIFIED SHOCKPROOF SAFETY fences on the market in Italy and we have made a difference. As breeders, we are always convinced that the BADI FARM ELECTRIFIED SHOCKPROOF SAFETY fences are the best product because they prevent the horse from confronting the fence and simply keep it away.

Although our energizers are protected by 9 varistors and a fuse, during storms it is always best to disconnect your device from both the power supply and the tape. As soon as the danger has passed, reconnect the power. The lightning protection systems that can be found on the market actually can do little or nothing against a lightning strike, which must be measured in millions of Volts. Fortunately, the incidence of lightning damage is not high. The latest generation of our energizers also features interchangeable parts, which allows repairs for a modest sum in many cases.
On rainy days, the fence, although from a theoretical point of view it should work better due to a better phase/earth connection, very often has its functioning slightly reduced because dirt, grass, or plants touch it, which ground it now that they are wet. The dispersion that increases with rain should not scare you because with our energizers the inconvenience will go unnoticed.
With snow we will see the tape become heavier and seem to slightly loosen: the effect is caused by the snowflakes sticking to the cold surface of the tape, thus weighing it down. Do not worry, just shake it to make it return to how it was before. In case of heavy snowfall where the lower tape is completely covered by the blanket of snow, there are no problems: just disconnect it and leave only the upper one connected.
As soon as everything normalizes, you can reconnect it.
