Safe solutions for your horses

From our field experience as breeders, here are many ideas to make the outdoor experience a constantly safe moment for your horses. There are many solutions to delimit the spaces for your horses, let's look at the pros and cons together. Unfortunately, on the market, there are many products that do not help breeders and prove to be dangerous for the animals themselves. Since 1989, we at Badi Farm have been spreading the importance of choosing electrified fences that are truly safe, effective, and of excellent quality.

Electrified Shockproof Safety Fences

We succeeded with BADI FARM ELECTRIFIED SHOCKPROOF SAFETY FENCES, and we made a difference.

This system prevents the horse from challenging the fence and simply keeps it away. In fact, unlike traditional containment systems, it creates a real mental barrier.

Thanks to this system, the horse does not perceive the fence as an obstacle to jump over or tear down, but after the first experiences, it thinks it is facing a wall that causes pain and therefore becomes insurmountable. Even the greatest jumpers who fly over 2-meter high obstacles will not dare to jump 1.30 meters of Shockproof Safety Electrified Tape with a special 10-year warranty, made in Europe.

But as breeders, we know well that for certain horses and for certain situations it is sometimes necessary to consider an additional fence in combination with the Electrified System. We have tested many fences and have selected some valid solutions:

Certified Recycled Plastic

It is certainly an excellent material with numerous advantages, it requires no maintenance and is a product unassailable by mold and atmospheric agents.

The only problem with plastic for outdoor environments: it "moves" with heat and cold, and with high temperatures, it very often deforms or bends: for this reason, the posts and fences we use and offer have an internal steel core that prevents any distortion... here is the solution! On the other hand, however... the cost may seem excessive when compared to other materials, but it must be considered that this fence lasts "forever".

Wooden Fence REF. TONDO12/14

We use turned posts made of resinous wood, resistant, rustic, without parts that horses can damage. Our palisade comes with special "post caps" to better protect the heads of the vertical posts from water infiltration, an economical but visually pleasing solution.

With the PVC sheath and proper maintenance, the wooden palisade can reach an average life of 8 / 10 years for the vertical post and about 6 / 7 years for the horizontal one. So the only downside: the duration, the time spent on necessary maintenance, and the fact that wood cracks and "moves"!

The PVC sheath we offer creates an excellent combination of wood resistance and PVC longevity. Easy to apply, just insert the post inside this band and heat it with an industrial hairdryer or near heat sources; it will quickly adhere to the post.
