The biggest cost in maintaining a horse is incredible but true: its bedding, but not only that: the horse spends a lot of time on the bedding: what can you do?

Switch to CATALYZED PERMANENT BEDDING!

Those who don't want to switch to permanent bedding shouldn't worry: we've found a system to improve the environment where your horse lives, working on bedding that needs to be changed weekly and on straw bedding.

However, based on our experience, we want to clarify that:

• with traditional bedding, during normal stall cleaning about 30% to 40% of still-clean material is discarded.
• bedding, in addition to absorbing liquids, must support the horse's weight and therefore needs to be soft; traditional bedding doesn't work well because it's shallow and often the horse pushes it aside, then rests on hard flooring, developing bumps on the withers or sores.
• urine in traditional bedding produces ammonia fumes that irritate the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract, predisposing it to diseases and reducing athletic performance; even with the use of strong disinfectants the same irritating effect is achieved.
• the fermentation processes that always accompany bedding decomposition can harbor bacteria that may cause general health problems and foot infections in horses, potentially leading to frog rot.

Amount of enzymes used in a 3x3 m stall in one year: 5,750 kg. In a stable treated with Enzymes Catalyst there will always be very few flies and few insects.
