Azobe wood is a wood that cannot be attacked by chemical and atmospheric agents, it does not fear impacts or frost and is therefore particularly suitable for the creation of external structures exposed to weather and subject to even high stress.

Azobe is a broadleaf tree of considerable height that grows in equatorial regions and predominantly in Ivory Coast – Cameroon – Guinea – Ghana – Gabon and Nigeria.
Azobe wood is very heavy, for fresh goods it is approximately 1300kg per cubic meter, and has very high mechanical resistance characteristics.

Tests carried out by the "Centre Technique Forestier Tropical" confirm that azobe should be considered non-rotting wood, of extremely long lasting quality, resistant to impacts, with great elasticity and mechanical strength, classifiable among those few in the world that are truly resistant to xylophagous attacks and among these, especially termites and woodworms, as well as teredo navalis.

It therefore appears that Azobe is truly the ideal wood for any external work, whether in wet and dry ground or in water, even salt water; indeed it is practically eternal due to its enormous qualities of non-rot and remarkable resistance.

In conclusion, Azobe is the hardest wood in the world.

The heartwood ignites with difficulty and has remarkable natural resistance against weather agents, acids, plant and animal parasites; even termites cannot attack it.

The possibility of having air passage holes, feed doors, hay doors and/or even compartments created under the feeder to house your horse's cleaning tools.
