Electric Fences

We present our electric fences, but first... the benefits of outdoor farming

Raising chickens and hens outdoors is a common aspiration for many breeders who have green space where they can leave their animals free during the day. Outdoor farming means letting your animals roam freely in a natural and healthy dedicated space.

What are the benefits your animals will gain from living outdoors?

• Less stressed animals. Confining animals in overly small spaces can lead to aggressive behaviors such as cannibalism. Raising them outdoors reduces this risk.

• Better overall health. Chickens raised outdoors grow stronger and more resilient, and adapt better to climate. They remain leaner and get sick less often.

• Better nutrition. In pens that are too small, weaker animals may suffer from the law of the jungle at feeding time and not eat enough. Outdoors where there is more space, this does not happen.

• Increased high-quality animal proteins. Grazing on a meadow, chickens and hens will feed on insects and invertebrates, ensuring themselves a good dose of protein-rich food. If raised in an orchard, they will eliminate all the parasites from your fruit trees that they can reach.

• Better-tasting eggs. Eggs from free-range hens are tastier and (thanks to carotenoids present in meadow grasses) also have a more intense color. Furthermore, it has been proven that they have higher content of vitamin A, vitamin E and omega 3 fatty acids.

• Savings on feed. Raising chickens outdoors will provide robust supplementation to your animals' diet. By providing them grain only in the afternoon, they will eat less since they will have already partially filled themselves grazing.

But this type of farming also has a big problem… PREDATORS.

Our grazing animals will be more susceptible to attacks by dogs, mustelids (marten and polecat), foxes and rats. It will unfortunately be much easier to lose some animals due to carnivores present in our countryside if we raise chickens outdoors. But we already have the BadiFarm solution: the NET130.

Electric fence 106cm high, 50 meters long, complete with posts with double iron spikes, modular. Green color. Its mesh is very small at the bottom and widens as you go up. Ideal for chickens and waterfowl. The net is made of 11 wires each with 3 steel conductors of 0.20mm, the last wire is non-conductive to prevent dispersion due to ground contact. The plastic posts have a 15cm steel tip.

Do you need a fence that combines safety with simplicity and mobility?

Here are the electric fences... given their ease of assembly and disassembly, they only need to be connected to the energizer, they are ideal for those who need to move the fence frequently and need a manageable and simple system. So here are our proposals for your animals. One for each need!

Our NET fences differ based on the type of animal to be contained; the two nets indicated below are excellent for containing dogs, cats and more:

the NET120, for containing sheep and dogs and medium-sized animals, 120 cm high and 50 m long in linear length with mesh designed specifically for these types of animals.

the NET130 is designed specifically for chickens and waterfowl. It is 50 m of linear net with smaller mesh at the bottom to prevent chicks from escaping. Height 106 cm.
